Family first! The Kaplan twins, a.k.a. Lexi Kaplan and Allie Kaplan — who will be making an appearance on Flip It Like Disick in the upcoming Sunday, September 15, episode — revealed Scott Disick is embracing fatherhood these days.

“He is a really great father,” the 26-year-olds told Life & Style exclusively about what it was like to appear on the E! hit series with the 36-year-old — who is the father of three kids: Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4. “He is just honestly a nice guy. I remember we were talking a lot — Penelope had some recital she was going to. He was so excited. He was talking about the dress, and she was going back and forth about the dress she wanted.”

In the upcoming episode, Scott’s assistant calls the Kaplan twins to ask them if they could create a painting of Penelope for her room at her dad’s house. Of course, they happily oblige and are thrilled about the opportunity. “Scott came to our studio, and then he commissioned us to do the portrait of Penelope,” Allie revealed. “It fell into place, and we have also done some modeling for Khloé [Kardashian] with Good American, so I think the family, they know our artwork. It was just very meant to be.”

So, how did the blonde beauties come up with what they were going to paint? “He gave us a lot of creative freedom,” Lexi said. “He sent us the photo of Penelope — I guess Penelope chose the photo. He didn’t really tell us much of how he wanted [it], he just trusted our vision and our aesthetic.”

In the end, it seemed like the family was happy with the results. “I mean, it’s always a little nerve-wracking when you do portraits of people because you want to make sure it’s perfect,” Allie said. “You want it to represent who you are painting, you want it to look amazing, you want it to look like them. So yeah, we were very excited to see that he loved it. I think the painting fit in perfectly in the room.”

Penelope did admit she looked like an elf when she saw the masterpiece, but the Kaplan twins couldn’t help but laugh about her comment. “She meant it in the sense that she looked a little cartoonish, which is OK because it’s a painting,” Lexi explained. “It’s a painting, but she looked like she loved it, so it’s OK! She is just a sweet little girl. She is a little sassy and a little shy in the beginning.”

Will the twins be making artwork for Mason and Reign in the future? “I would love that! Why not!” Allie exclaimed. “Like, add us, we will be the artist on the show. We will be a part of the decoration squad!”
