Our hearts are going to burst! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth fell madly in love on the set of The Last Song, and now author Nicholas Sparks has congratulated them on their marriage. In a heartwarming message via Twitter on Dec. 26, Nicholas celebrated their highly anticipated union.

Similar to The Notebook co-stars, Miley and Liam found themselves falling head-over-heels for each other while filming The Last Song. The power couple first met on the set of the movie in 2008 and they continued dating off and on for many years. It looked like wedding bells were finally ringing for the pair when Liam popped the question for a second time in 2016. Fans were loving it when Miley posted a new photo of her and Liam from their wedding captioned: “10 years later.”

On Dec. 24, rumors started swirling that Miley and her longtime beau finally tied the knot after new photos surfaced on Instagram, and it certainly appeared like they had a secret wedding. The singer even shared several stunning black and white photos of herself and Liam from their special day on Dec. 26 and Miley finally confirmed the speculation when a fan commented, “you married the hottest man in Hollywood!” Miley responded, “I knooooowwwww right!”

Miley and Liam have been living in Tennessee, following the loss of their home to fires in Malibu and the heartbreaking experience only brought them closer as a couple. “I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that is why you pair up with someone — for survival — and he was so incredible,” the songstress recently told Howard Stern about her husband. Here’s to many more years together in wedded bliss!
