We stan a feminist! On Thursday, Dec. 20, Miley Cyrus appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performed “Santa Baby,” but with her own little twist. The singer changed most of the lyrics to something that empowered women, and obviously, we’re so here for her rendition.

As soon as her skit started, Miley told Jimmy she couldn’t sing the lyrics to the song, mostly because it mentions fur (she’s vegan), and because the holiday classic is basically about materialism and focuses on a woman depending on a man, that being Santa Claus. “Am I singing I’m gonna hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?” she said before going on stage to perform.

“Santa baby/ I hear you got some presents for me/ Miley,” she began to sing before Jimmy interrupted her for changing the words. What she sang next had us all screaming.

“Don’t want diamonds, cash, or stocks/ Nothing that comes in a box/ No more fluff/ I’ve had enough/ And I can buy my own damn stuff/ Santa baby/ I got a baller car of my own/ No loan/ I bought it all by myself/ Santa baby/ With zero help from Elf on the shelf,” she continued.

“Listen Santa, to what I say/ A girl’s best friend is equal pay/ So stop interrupting me when I talk/ And don’t text me pictures of your…” the 26-year-old sang before Mark Ronson, who was dancing backup with Jimmy, interrupted the singer when his phone rang. Yas queen!

The “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” singer even addressed sexual misconduct in the workplace: “Santa baby/ I’d love to know my a– won’t get grabbed/ At work / By some ignorant jerk/ Tell the dirtbag/ To put away the chimney tonight.”

The crowd roared because Miley totally gets it. TBH, this is officially the version we will sing from now on!
