She’s back! Miley Cyrus finally posted on Instagram after what feels like forever and to fans’ surprise, it’s to tease new music coming sooner than you think. The pop star recently celebrated her 26th birthday and instead of receiving, she’s giving Smilers a nice little gift that drops on Thursday, Nov. 29.

Back in July, the “We Can’t Stop” singer deleted every single photo on her Instagram and it remained that way until today. Usually, when stars do that, it’s to take a break from social media, or to come back in full-effect and release an epic project. Taylor Swift was known to do the same thing before the release of her latest album, Reputation. Can this mean Miley has an entire album up her sleeve? We sure hope so!

The 26-year-old hasn’t released any new music since Younger Now, which dropped last September. That album showcased Miley’s new, calmer, softer side with songs like “Malibu” and “Younger Now,” since her buzz-cut blonde ‘do and twerking days from a few years earlier.

11/29 💔 @iammarkronson

We have no idea what to expect from Miley in any of her forthcoming music, but we can tell it’s going to be good! The 10-second clip she shared on Monday, Nov. 26, features a broken-hearted disco ball, while dramatic music plays, captioned with the date, “11/29,” along with a broken-hearted emoji. The pop star also tagged Mark Ronson, who is a British DJ and music producer behind some of your favorite hits, like Dua Lipa’s “Electricity” and A Star Is Born’s “Shallow.”

Mark confirmed the song’s title through a tweet he liked and it appears to be called “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.” The single, out on Thursday, Nov. 29, marks “the heartbreak era,” according to the music producer/DJ.

So far, the feel of the song is almost cinematic and features some powerful stringed instruments. Based on the short preview, it sounds very different from anything else Miley has done before. Could she be changing her sound again? We can’t wait to find out!
