According to a report, an insider believes Cam formed a relationship with the athlete to get Kate back for allegedly hooking up with Cam’s ex Justin Timberlake in January 2007 just days after they split — WHEW!

“Kate thinks it’s payback, pure and simple,” the source told Us Weekly.
