Prime dropped the official image of the final season on April 23, 2025, which showcased a telling image of Belly in the middle of Jeremiah and Conrad.
While smizing at the camera, Belly slightly leaned her face closer toward Jeremiah, who gently placed his face on her cheek, but did not actually kiss her. His older brother, who stood on the opposite side of Belly, glared at their love displayed in front of his eyes.
The official The Summer I Turned Pretty TikTok account shared the poster on the social media platform, leading fans to loudly share which brother they want Belly to pick in the end.
“If it’s not Conrad I’m gonna lose it,” one person wrote in the comments section of the post, while a separate person added, “Team Jeremiah forever!!!”
A third fan, who was clearly #TeamConrad joked, “WHYS HE SNIFFING HER I DONT LIKE THIS.”
Meanwhile, an eager fan shared a theory that showrunners were “trying to trick” fans into the storyline with the poster.
What Is the Storyline in ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Season 3?
The third season will mirror what happens in the third installment of The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, We’ll Always Have Summer.
The storyline will pick up two years after Belly decided to end things with Conrad for good and explore her feelings for Jeremiah, which played out during the season 2 finale.
“It’s very sweet and there’s so many amazing scenes for Belly and Jeremiah this season, so many,” The Summer I Turned Pretty author and coshowrunner Jenny Han dished to Entertainment Weekly in March 2025. “Lola and Gavin have really great chemistry and got into such a good rhythm with each other, because we do have a little bit of a time jump going into season 3, so they needed to have that kind of bond, and it was really seamless. It’ll be joyful for people to witness it.”
That said, love may not be fully lost between Conrad and Belly.
“Conrad’s been away from everyone for a while, and now he’s back in the mix with people. It’s almost like rediscovering and also seeing the ways that they’ve both changed and have had some distance from each other, and who are these people now? Because there is a little bit of a time jump and he’s been gone,” Jenny continued to the outlet. “People will see the ways that he’s changed and he’s seeing the ways that Belly and Jeremiah — and Steven [Sean Kaufman] — have changed as well.”

Belly and Jeremiah’s unmatched chemistry was highlighted throughout the season 3 first look, which was released on April 24, 2025. The one-minute clip featured endless moments of the couple’s love story, from taking PDA breaks while studying in college, to driving around with the wind in their hair, Belly and Jeremiah’s love was undeniable.
Taylor Swift, who has many songs featured throughout the first two seasons, sang throughout the trailer in her songs “Daylight” and “Red.”
The giddy trailer quickly turned somber in the final moments when Belly opened her front door, seemingly during Christmas time, to Conrad on her porch.
