‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Finale Trailer: Hints and Clues About Which Character Dies at the End

The White Lotus season 3 has kept fans on the edge of their seats, and with the finale just days away, people are doing their best to figure out which character dies at the end. In the trailer for the season 3 finale, a few clues were dropped regarding who might shuffle off their mortal coil.

Is Timothy Ratliff’s Death Too Obvious of a Choice for ‘White Lotus’ Season 3?

Timothy Ratliff, played by Jason Isaacs, has been going through it since about 24 hours after he landed in Thailand. He learned that his crimes have finally caught up with him and throughout his vacation, he has repeatedly thought about killing himself. However, if he does, it looks like he might have to get creative.

The gun he stole from Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) was stolen back by the security guard, and in The White Lotus finale trailer, Timothy is very interested in the “Suicide Tree.” The tree produces poisonous fruit, which was pointed out in the first episode. Combine the fruit and the blender that Timothy’s son Saxon Ratliff (Patrick Schwarzenegger) seems to always be running in the background, and it looks like the disgraced southern patriarch might be whipping himself up a poison fruit smoothie.

Belinda Lindsey Stands Her Ground Against Greg/Gary

Natasha Rothwell’s character Belinda Lindsey has become a fan favorite over the past two seasons, but she found herself on dangerous ground in The White Lotus season 3. After recognizing Greg (Jon Gries) and learning he now goes by Gary and he’s wanted for questioning in his wife Tanya McQuoid’s (Jennifer Coolidge) murder, Belinda might be in trouble. Greg/Gary offered to give Belinda $100,000 to start her own business “because that’s what Tanya would have wanted,” but she knew what he was really asking. The money was in exchange for her silence about where Greg/Gary was hiding.

The trailer for the finale showed Belinda adamantly turning the money down, despite her son Zion’s (Nicholas Duvernay) wishes, but Greg/Gary didn’t look happy about it. Fans already know the man played a part in Tanya’s death, so what’s stopping him from killing Belinda too?

Gaitok and the Jewelry Thieves Might Be a Recipe for Murder

Gaitok has struggled to prove himself to his crush, Mook (Lalisa Manobal), throughout The White Lotus season 3. In the penultimate episode, Mook made it clear she wanted him to be more ambitious. While they were in the audience for the Muay Thai fights, Gaitok realized that the men who robbed the jewelry store were friends of his fellow hotel employee, Valentin (Arnas Fedaravicius).

Is Gaitok so desperate to prove himself to Mook that he’d be willing to take on Valentin and his criminal cohorts on his own? The trailer showed Valentin making eye contact with Gaitok and hinted that the two men might have a showdown after all.

Who Is Your Favorite Character From ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3?

A Happily Ever After for Chelsea and Rick in ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Finale?

Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) quickly became everyone’s favorite this season. She’s gentle, she’s kind and she really, really wants Rick (Walton Goggins) to stay out of trouble. In The White Lotus season 3 finale trailer, fans got a glimpse of Chelsea running into Rick’s arms on the beaches of Thailand, and honestly, it might have been the first time the man cracked a smile all season. That alone makes it seem like this might be some sort of dream of vision in Chelsea’s head. Plus, the lighting in the scene is similar to the same type of lighting that gives fans that dreamy, Heaven-like feel.

To make matters worse, the finale trailer features Rick saying, “I’m going to be OK,” which is basically the equivalent of signing his own death certificate.

However, fans have to wait to see how it all plays out when The White Lotus season 3 finale airs on April 6, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO and Max.
