Will Tia Booth be on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor? Bachelor Nation is pretty torn over the franchise’s pick for the next Bachelor, and while some are excited to watch Colton’s journey to finding his one true love, others aren’t really thrilled because of the way things played out between him and Tia during Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise. Fans have been following Tia and Colton’s would-be love story ever since Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette, and even though things didn’t work out the way she might have wanted them to with Colton, Tia still wants fans to know she’s happy for him.
“Congratulations [Colton] I hope your season is full of protein powder, puppies, and naps!
#TheBachelor,” Tia tweeted shortly after ABC announced the big news. “And NO I will NOT be a contestant on Colton’s season. Lord bless.”

The news came just hours after fans watched the Tia and Colton love saga come to a close on Bachelor in Paradise. After Tia and Colton reunited in Mexico, they struggled to get on the same page about their feelings for each other. While Tia went on the show in the hopes that she and Colton would finish what they started before he was cast as a contestant on Becca’s season, Colton was still dealing with his breakup with Becca and his approach for BIP was to keep his options open.
They eventually decided to give their relationship another shot while filming the show, but after about a few days together, Colton told Tia that he didn’t see a future with her and they had a tearful breakup. Shortly after the episode aired, Tia took to Instagram to share what she took away from her time spent with Colton.

Never ever regret following your heart. Things may not always work out as you planned, but they always work out as they should. Thankful that this chapter of our lives has ended so new chapters can begin. I truly wish you the best, C. #peaceoutparadise #hotdogsforever #thankseleven
