‘To Rome for Love’ Fans Are Totally Shipping Shay Atkins and Her Tatted Italian Hunk
These ladies are going overseas to find love! Bravo's latest reality TV series To Rome for Love will document the journey of five lovely, single ladies as they travel to one of the most romantic cities in the world in order to meet the man of their dreams — with the help of love expert Diann Valentine! But fans were immediately drawn to Shay Atkins and her story, and they're dying to know more about her.
Shay is a 38-year-old entrepreneur from Chicago, and she's also a single mom to a 21-year-old daughter named Ashleigh. Shay is the Executive Chef and owner of Celebrity Chef Shay, Inc. and My Creative Cuisine, which is a mobile catering service that provides clients with healthy, gourmet meals and she also does volunteer work, according to her Bravo bio. With her busy schedule as a working mom, it's been hard for her to find a man who can keep up! That's why she chose to embark on the journey to Rome.
On this week's episode, Shay went on a date with a very handsome Italian man named Roberto — a tall drink of water with dark hair and tattoos. As a chef, Shay thoroughly enjoyed their date as they strolled through the market of Campo de' Fiori, where they sampled some of the very best in Italian ingredients like balsamic vinegar and lupini beans.
Their date seemed to go well and after the episode aired, Shay took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her and Roberto — and fans gushed over how cute they looked as a couple and they advised Shay to hold onto him because he's such a catch.
"Please tell me you kept in touch with him. He’s such a sweetheart," one fan wrote, and another commented, "You two make a good match! You should have kissed him before he left!"
But Shay didn't reveal any details, so fans will just have to tune into To Rome for Love on Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo to see to find out if she really does find love with Roberto!
