Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Downsize AGAIN Amid Financial Struggles
It looks like Tori Spelling is getting further and further away from the over-the-top lifestyle she once knew!
The 42-year-old and her husband, Dean McDermott, have once again downsized their home, renting a 3,733 square-foot place in Calabasas, Calif. (The Encino property they moved out of was reportedly 6,623 square feet.)
Tori, Dean and their four kids together.
But, according to TMZ, the couple are by no means lacking space. The home is said to have five bedrooms, five baths and a pool. But Tori, who grew up in a 56,500 square-foot mansion in Holmby Hills, has been open about the family’s recent financial hardships.
On her reality show True Tori last October, the former 90210 star revealed the duo and their four children — sons Liam, 8, and Finn, 2, and daughters Stella, 7, and Hattie, 3 — are living “paycheck to paycheck.”
“After [True Tori] I have no f—ing idea if work’s going to come in. Like, how am I going to support my family in six months?” she said at the time. When Dean suggested downsizing, Tori snapped, “But why should we have to?
“My dad wouldn’t have wanted this. He’d be so mad. He worked so friggin’ hard so his kids wouldn’t have to f—ing struggle,” she said of her late father, Aaron Spelling, who was worth $600 million at the time of his death in 2006. Tori’s current net worth is said to be just $1.5 million.
