Travis Kelce Looks Sad While Reuniting With Taylor Swift in Her Suite After 2025 Super Bowl Loss
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reunited in her suite following Super Bowl 2025, and the professional athlete appeared sad after the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome.
It was an epic matchup in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, February 9, but the Eagles ultimately secured the win and took home the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Following the game, Travis, 35, was seen appearing glum as he walked into the suite, according to video footage shared by E! News. He donned a serious expression as he walked through the hallway, and he briefly smiled while greeting someone outside of the suite.
Taylor, 35, made sure to support the tight end at the big game, and was cheering him on every step of the way. However, her support wasn’t enough and the Chiefs still lost the game.
It was bound to be an exciting night considering the teams’ records were almost tied with the Chiefs going into the Super Bowl at 17-2 while the Eagles were just ahead at 17-3.
“We both love to manifest things, for sure. You can’t say it isn’t real because we are here, right?” Travis said about Taylor being by his side before the game. “Whatever she was doing, it helped.”
When asked if he planned to get down on one knee at the Super Bowl, he coyly replied, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Sources exclusively told Life & Style that Travis certainly wants to “knock it out of the park” with a proposal when the time is right, adding, “Taking Taylor aside after the game and asking her to marry him would be the ultimate romantic gesture.”
“He is so open about Taylor being The One,” the insiders said. “He wants to spend the rest of his life with her and vice versa.”
Other insiders also told Life & Style that Taylor was gearing up for the game with none other than Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback legend Patrick Mahomes.
“Taylor’s not nearly as wide-eyed about the whole thing as she was last year but she’s still relieved to have Brittany to experience all of this with,” the insiders spilled. Taylor and Brittany “know all eyes are going to be on them, so they’re prepping for this like it’s some sort of red carpet premiere.”
“They’ve got stylists pulling outfits for them and all sorts of beauty appointments booked. The pressure to look perfect on camera is very high,” according to the tipsters. “They also want to throw a little get together for the WAGS ahead of the game so they can celebrate together and bond more.”
Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, confirmed that Taylor would be at the Super Bowl prior to the game, which led Swifties to tune in at record numbers.
As Life & Style previously reported, Taylor and Brittany, 29, notably rushed to the field when the Chiefs won the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills on January 26 and accepted the Lamar Hunt Trophy.
“I love you so much,” Travis told Taylor as she leaned in for a kiss.
Travis and the “Look What You Made Me Do” hitmaker have been going strong ever since they started dating in summer 2023.
The next year was just as sweet for the couple considering his team took home their second consecutive Super Bowl title in February 2024 after defeating the San Francisco 49ers while Taylor wrapped up her Eras Tour in December 2024.
