Travis Kelce Proposing to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl ‘Would Be the Ultimate Romantic Gesture’
Travis Kelce could not have looked happier. On January 26, the Kansas City Chiefs bested the Buffalo Bills, clinching the AFC championship and a spot in Super Bowl LIX.
Amidst the chaos and confetti at Arrowhead Stadium, the tight end, 35, found girlfriend Taylor Swift in the crowd. “I love you so much,” he told the singer, 35, as she went in for a smooch.
“Everyone in Travis and Taylor’s world assumes an engagement is coming,” a source tells Life & Style. “In fact, a lot of people find it pretty extraordinary that it hasn’t happened already.”
It’s not that Travis is having doubts about their future. “He is so open about Taylor being The One,” says the source. “He wants to spend the rest of his life with her and vice versa.”
The feeling amongst friends is that the NFL star is just waiting for the perfect moment to propose, says the source. “He wants to knock it out of the park.”
Or rather, the Caesars Superdome? That’s where the Chiefs will face-off against the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9. Says the source: “Taking Taylor aside after the game and asking her to marry him would be the ultimate romantic gesture.”
