Travis Kelce ‘Likes’ Throwback Instagram Video of 11-Year-Old Taylor Swift Performing
Travis Kelce is forever in awe of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift’s, talent.
Fans noticed that the professional football player, 35, “liked” an Instagram video of the country music star, 34, performing in front of a big crowd at just 11 years old.
“She was born to be a star,” Instagram account @archivesofswift captioned the 2001 throwback video on Tuesday, October 29. The footage featured Taylor introducing herself to the MC, declaring her dream of becoming a country music star, and then diving into a performance of LeAnn Rimes‘ “Big Time.”
“[I’m] from Reading, Pennsylvania,” she told the crowd before explaining that she had been singing for three years.
“Trav liked thiss postt that’s f–kin’ cute dude,” one fan wrote under the post. Meanwhile, another user added, “How is no one talking about how Travis Kelce liked this!!”
“The fact Travis liked this,” a third quipped.
The Kansas City Chiefs player is known for supporting the “Blank Space” songstress online. He also showed her love by “liking” a video shared by MTV after she won Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. “One person ONLY cheers louder for @taylorswift than I do – and that’s @killatrav #VMAs,” read the caption.
Taylor returns her support to the NFL player as well, sending fans into an uproar after giving a shout-out to Travis at the VMAs while reflecting on the “fun” experience of filming her “Fortnight” music video.
“Something that I’ll always remember is when I would finish a take and I’d say, ‘Cut,’ and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering, ‘Woo,’ from across the studio where we were shooting it,” she said. “And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”
Travis updated fans on his year-long romance with Taylor while talking to his Grotesquerie costar Niecy Nash-Betts on the Wednesday, October 30, episode of his “New Heights” podcast. He thanked the actress for consistently speaking so highly of his relationship with the “Cruel Summer” singer.
“I appreciate you,” he shared after Niecy, 54, mentioned receiving texts from “nosy” friends curious about what she knows regarding Travis’ love life. “Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love. You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that.”
Taylor and Travis began dating in the summer of 2023. Since confirming their relationship that September, Taylor has supported Travis by cheering him on at several of his games, while he’s attended a few of her Eras tour concerts.
Due to his busy football schedule, Travis hasn’t been able to attend Taylor’s recent concerts, but she’s made sure to give him several shout-outs and subtle nods during her latest tour performances.
