Daddy Duty! Tristan Thompson Calls Baby True His ‘Twin’ in Cute, New IG Photo
Someone’s on the clock! Tristan Thompson checked in for some daddy duty with his daughter, True Thompson, on July 20 — and even called the little girl his “twin” in a sweet new Instagram post.
“Twins 🙏🏾😍🙌🏾,” the 28-year-old captioned the adorable photo of himself sitting on the floor of a kids gymnasium with baby True between his legs, ready to go with a ball beneath her foot. Talk about a really sweet daddy-daughter moment, y’all.
Considering we don’t get to see all that much of the NBA player with his daughter on social media, it’s really nice to get a glimpse into some of their undoubtedly precious downtime together. In fact, the alleged lack of time Tristan was spending with his daughter was once a point of contention with his baby mama, Khloé Kardashian.
However, Koko, 35, recently spoke out in favor of her ex-boyfriend on Instagram after a fan wrote that she must hate how much the baby looks like Tristan.
“Why would I ever hate anyone who helped create such an angel? People make mistakes, but I won’t hurt my own healing by holding onto hate,” she served the follower. “I’m too busy raising my beautiful baby and securing that [money] to hate any individual. Sweet True has always looked like her daddy. She’s beautiful!!”
Khloé and Tristan had a falling out shortly after his cheating scandal with family friend Jordyn Woods came to light back in February — but it was actually the second time he’d been unfaithful. Tristan was first caught cheating on Khloé just days before True was born back in April 2018.
Needless to say, True’s parents have had quite the complicated relationship since his first transgression, which the second screw-up only made worse. But all in all, it seems like the former couple is doing well and putting things aside for the baby.
