He’s on daddy duty! Tristan Thompson shared a sweet and rare photo of his mother ~twinning~ with his daughter, True Thompson, on his Instagram on August 24 — and needless to say, fans were divided about the photo despite its cuteness.
“GiGi and Baby Trueeee 🙏🏾,” the 28-year-old basketball pro captioned the adorable pic of his mom and his 16-month-old baby. Several fans rushed to the comments section to remark how much the tiny tot looks like her grandmother on her dad’s side.
“She favors her grandma. Strong genes! They are both beautiful 💕,” one fan wrote, while another chimed in, “You are all twins!!😍😍😍😍😍” That user really isn’t wrong, y’all — this baby does look so much like her g-ma! Sorry, Kris Jenner.
Another follower remarked how little of a resemblance they think the baby has to her mama, Khloé Kardashian. “Little True is all Thompson she has nothing from Khloé or the Kardashians 😂😂,” they wrote.
Other groups of fans couldn’t help but remark on the perceived lack of time the baller spends with his baby daughter — something that he’s taken heat for since the early days of her life. “Khloé finally has [an] off day 😊,” one follower remarked with a bit of snark, while another straight up asked, “You are actually visiting with your kids?”
One user even just decided to assume the scenario at hand. “He’s babysitting today,” they wrote. Honestly, we don’t even blame them for cracking jokes, since the last time we saw Tristan and True sharing a little daddy-daughter time was in an IG snap back on July 20.
But the best comment on the post came from Tristan’s pal and renowned ballplayer LeBron James, who absolutely loved the photo. “BEAUTIFUL!!! 2 of a Kind ❤️❤️,” he gushed in a comment.
