Tyler Cameron Is All Smiles Stepping Out in New York City Amid Gigi Hadid Breakup
Unbothered! Tyler Cameron was in good spirits in Times Square on Wednesday, October 2, just one day before news broke that he and Gigi Hadid called it quits. The former Bachelorette contestant, 26, was in such a great mood that he even stopped to take photos with fans.
By the looks of it, Tyler is handling the split pretty well. “Tyler is single. He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together,” a source revealed to Us Weekly about the 24-year-old model and hunk. Unfortunately, Gigi and Tyler’s romance was short-lived — the pair dated after two months of hanging out nonstop. They were first seen out and about on August 4 — two days after Tyler was photographed leaving Hannah Brown’s apartment.
Though Gigi and Tyler only spent a short amount of time together, they were very into each other according to their friends Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon. Ash exclusively told Life & Style in September that Gigi and Tyler “are a serious couple,” Her beau, Jared, basically agreed and added, “I mean, they’re practically married at this point!”
Things did seem to get serious for them — especially after Tyler accompanied Gigi and her family to her grandmother’s funeral in September. Apparently, it’s not out of Tyler’s character to lend a helping hand regardless of the situation. “Tyler is a supportive guy. He is there for the people he cares about and will do whatever he can for them,” an insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style at the time. “Tyler’s the type of guy who will try his best to make someone smile during a tough time. Things seem to be going well, they are definitely enjoying their time together.” Too bad those days are over.
Things between the former flames seemed to calm down around Fashion Week when Gigi was constantly traveling. The distance became too much for them. “They’ve both been very busy recently — she’s been in Europe for fashion week and he’s been working on his charity and preparing for the Chicago marathon,” a second source divulged when they were still an item. “They still talk, it’s just been a matter of busy schedules.”
Gigi and Tyler still follow each other on Instagram so it doesn’t seem like it was a bad break up. Who knows — maybe there will be a reconciliation somewhere down the line!
