In what appears to be the most dramatic group date ever — which involves a competitive game of beach volleyball — the brunette beauty has an emotional breakdown and confesses to the camera that she's "fed up" with the show's process, calling it "so annoying."
"How can my relationship get to another level when all Nick is experiencing is me being competitive at a volleyball game?" she asks while fighting back tears. "I'm just fed up with it. I'm fed up with having to compete for time. I'm fed up with having to get his attention."
"And the fact that I have to go through these next few weeks having to deal with all the competition and all the gossip and all the talk, it's so annoying. I've been so patient," she continues.
The 36-year-old clearly feels the tension on the date as well, and later refers to it as a "wasted day."
"I think this idea of trying to have a relaxing, fun day kind of backfired on me," he says. "Even worse, maybe a day that not only didn't bring me closer to the women but maybe brought us further apart."
The uncomfortableness between Nick and Vanessa continues into Week 7, when the duo go on a one-on-one date in the Bahamas. When the special ed teacher reveals that she's falling in love with the Milwaukee native, she's hurt when he says "I really, really like you" back.
"I didn't feel great after getting his answer. I thought we were on the same page, and that we was falling in love with me," she tells the camera.
