It’s been three months since the Bachelor in Paradise scandal nearly shut down production for good, so what’s happened with the contestants at the center of the drama, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson, since then? Well, the pair reunites on tonight’s finale to talk about what went down between them and where they currently stand.

In a trailer for the episode, Corinne shares, “I’m just trying to get back to my old self. You know, get back to normal.” DeMario adds, “I hope that someday we cannot be connected with this, like, nasty cloud over us.” In the weeks following the duo’s controversial encounter, Corinne was criticized for staying silent, especially after DeMario had been cleared of any wrongdoing. She finally spoke out after a clip of them was released in a promo for the reality dating show.

Responding to DeMario’s claims that he was falsely accused of sexual misconduct, the blonde beauty called out ABC for teasing misleading footage in the trailer. “As DeMario is well aware, the footage that was in the promo was not of the encounter that caused production to be shut down,” Corinne’s rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. “The encounter that caused production to be shut down took place much later in the day, and it was in a hot tub, not a pool.”

The rep continued, “Corinne has never leveled any accusations at DeMario.” Earlier, the Bachelorette contestant — who became a villain on Rachel Lindsay’s season — applauded the network’s decision to release the video in question. “I’m glad footage of that day is being shown… This is a victory for all men who have been falsely accused,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

In the trailer, contestants were seen watching the NSFW interaction, which prompted a temporary halt on production. “The whole cast was just shocked and confused,” contestant Danielle Maltby said in the clip. “Are Corinne and DeMario OK? All we know is that we aren’t filming, so what the f–k is happening?”

Previously, DeMario, 30, shared his side of the story and accused Corinne, 25, of being the aggressor. “[We were] kissing, rubbing, touching. It’s nothing too sexual yet,” he told E! News. “Things got wild because it was more her being the aggressor, which was sexy… When you have a very attractive girl telling you what she wants, it’s like a very, like, ‘Wow, OK! This is hot. This is very…I like it.'”

He went on to provide even more graphic details of their hookup, which ABC confirmed would never be shown in its entirety. “I get out of the pool, and I have my legs in the pool, and I’m just hanging out…This is when she gets up out of the pool and puts her lady parts right on my face,” he added. “She straddled me, like put her…literally smack dab right there.”
