When does The Bachelorette start filming? Well, cameras have officially begun rolling!
It's only been a few days since Bachelor Nation found out Vanessa Grimaldi accepted Nick Viall’s engagement, but now, it’s Rachel Lindsay’s turn to hand out the roses. Mike Fleiss, the creator of ABC’s Bachelor and Bachelorette franchises, shared updates and photos from day one — which featured introductions from the contestants!
“Lights, cameras, limos,” Mike wrote on Twitter.
He also shared behind-the-scenes photos of the Bachelor mansion, the control room, some of the snacks from catering — and even gave fans a sneak peek at Rachel’s dress and some of her guys during cocktail hour!
In an unprecedented move, the 31-year-old got to meet four of her suitors during the After the Final Rose special. Usually fans — and the Bachelorette herself — have to wait until the season premiere to meet the guys, but four lucky men introduced themselves to the Dallas native during Nick's live after show.
"You could meet your husband right here, right now," host Chris Harrison told her right before bringing them out. "Good luck, Rachel — let the journey begin!"
The attorney got to meet DeMario, Blake, Dane, and Eric on Monday night, three days before they started filming her season. And even though her adventure's just beginning, the beauty already has a busy schedule ahead of her. According to Reality Steve, she'll have two group dates, one one-on-one date, and her first-ever rose ceremony over the weekend.
But it looks like Rachel is up for the task of being America’s newest sweetheart. She shared a heartfelt message on Instagram shortly after the announcement, expressing how excited she is to get another chance at finding love.
“So happy for this moment!!! Thank you so much for the love and support!!!!” she gushed. “Can't believe I am the new Bachelorette...still feel like I'm dreaming.”
