Cash grew up in Los Angeles, and watched what it was like to work in Hollywood from his father, Michael Warren, who is a retired actor.
While Cash did not pursue an acting career like his father, he has worked as a producer on shows including Independent Lens, Being Terry Kennedy and 30 for 30 and Meet the Keswanis.
Additionally, Cash worked as a director’s assistant for Tim Story on the 2004 film Taxi and Fantastic Four.
Cash has also had his fair share of business ventures. He has been the co-owner of Verso Entertainment, a production company specialized in documentaries, and he cofounded the digital media group Apoko.
“Verso creates, develops, producers, packages, and finances content for all platforms, whether that’s film, TV or digital. The couple met on set of Fantastic Four in 2004, in which Jessica played Sue Storm, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman and Cash was a director’s assistant.
Jessica recalled the first time she met Cash while speaking to Cosmopolitan in September 2010, sharing that they instantly connected. “Right after I met [Cash], I called my best friend and was like, ‘I met this guy and I feel like I’ve known him forever and I’m gonna know him for the rest of my life,’” she told the outlet at the time.
The pair wed in May 2008, and they welcomed baby No. 1, daughter Honor, in June of that year. Jessica and Cash went on to welcome their second daughter, Haven, in August 2011, followed by son Hayes in December 2017.

Jessica and Cash’s split was first reported on January 8, 2024. At the time, sources told TMZ that they had recently separated and planned to file for a divorce.
Both Jessica and Cash have remained quiet about the rumors, though she hinted at their relationship troubles by attending a pre-Golden Globes party on January 4, 2025, without Cash and without wearing her wedding band.
Meanwhile, Cash also ditched his wedding band when he was seen out and about in Los Angeles just days before their split was revealed.
