In just a few episodes, the Bravolebrity has opened up about his past – and has no problem living the present. However, his playboy ways may get him in trouble with his new Hamptons housemates during the rest of the season, the March 26, 2025, midseason trailer teased.

What Is Imrul Hassan’s Job?
Imrul is a reality star in his spare time when he’s not clocked in as a real estate broker. However, he has two jobs, as he claimed to be a “full-time party boy” in his Bravotv.com bio.
Imrul Hassan Shares Immigration Journey on ‘Summer House’
“I was an illegal immigrant for a while. Until I was 23,” Imrul told his housemates during season 9, episode 5 of his immigration journey from his native country, Bangladesh.
Imrul went on to explain how he married his first girlfriend and “expedited the process” so that he could become a U.S. citizen. However, they ended their marriage.
After the episode aired, Imrul spoke in more detail about his past via Instagram.
“Hey guys, So, I just want to take a moment to talk about what I just shared with on national TV. I never thought in a million years that I would tell people my story, my rocky past, my immigration status,” he said in the March 2025 video. “Yeah, I never thought that I’d be sharing that with the cast of Summer House.”
After thanking his costars for being supportive, he reminded fans to have “a bit of compassion, empathy for people who are different than you, don’t exactly look like you, because we’re all going through a lot.”
Imrul Hassan Was Married
Although Imrul and his former wife decided to end their marriage, he had nothing but nice things to say about her.
“We were together for a while. We loved each other and we thought eventually, you know, we’re gonna get married anyway, but [my immigration status] just expedited the whole thing.”
Imrul explained that both he and his ex were mentally checked out of their marriage and decided to call it quits.
“I didn’t feel tied into my marriage or my relationship because of my immigration status. It was never that,” he continued. “It was – we loved each other we were together for that, you know, and I still believe in love.”

One thing Imrul has stayed consistent with inside the summer house is that he brings home a girl every night they go out to the bars. However, his young boy antics are starting to give some of his housemates the ick.
“Do you bring home girls like this in your own home? Because it’s obnoxious,” Summer House’s Ciara Miller told Imrul as they sat one-on-one by the pool in the midseason trailer.
