Alix repeatedly explained that his football commitments kept him “stuck in football world,” but the absence did raise eyebrows.

To be fair, Braxton still showed support in his own way, cheering his then-girlfriend on via social media.

Despite their schedules, they did try to carve out sweet moments together. When Braxton turned 30 in October, Alix went all out and planned a surprise party during the Texans’ bye week, flying in his best friends and family to Los Angeles. “I wanted to plan something special for him,” she wrote on TikTok, adding that he assumed they wouldn’t celebrate “until the off season.”

When Alix and Braxton were first linked in 2023, some fans accused him of cheating on his ex-girlfriend, Sophia Culpo—an allegation the NFL player heavily denied. Alix later said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that, to her understanding, Braxton and Sophia were no longer together when things began between them.

Despite the noise surrounding their relationship, Alix often spoke positively about the future of their relationship.

“We always talk about our future,” she told Us Weekly in February 2025. “Right now, we’re so focused on our careers that we live in the moment and don’t rush into anything. I think that’s the cool thing about being with Braxton, [he] is not scared of any type of future.”
