Say it ain’t so! After eight long years as a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan favorite, Lisa Vanderpump says that she’s leaving the hit Bravo reality series. “I think they’ve made it pretty impossible for me to go back frankly,” the L.A. restaurateur, 58, admitted on DailyMailTV after being asked if she will return for season 9. “So … no.”

Prior to Lisa’s shocking declaration, she also confessed that she has no intention of attending the RHOBH reunion. “The objective of the reunion is to reunite, right? And I have no inclination to reunite with the women who’ve been harassing me for 10 months now,” she expressed.

Considering Lisa — along with costar Kyle Richards — has been on the series since season 1, her absence is likely to cause a lot of fan backlash. In fact, viewers have already flocked to social media to share their upset. “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not the same without Lisa Vanderpump … don’t care what those other women say. I believe in her and Teddi Mellencamp needs to go!” one user commented on Twitter.

“I think this is going to be my last season watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” added another. Unfortunately, Lisa’s potential departure isn’t exactly something out of left field. According to Radar Online, she has been gearing up to leave for quite a while.

An insider told the outlet that the drama between all of the women — specifically Kyle, 50, and Dorit Kemsley — became “too much” for Lisa to bare following the death of her brother, Mark, in May 2018. “She was dealing with grief, filming Vanderpump Rules, opening [new restaurant] TomTom, and running the Vanderpump Dog Foundation,” the insider expressed. “She was not equipped to handle Housewives, even before the drama happened.”

At the very least, we hope Lisa will continue to star on Vanderpump Rules. After all, what would the reality TV world be without her elegance, wit and killer style?
