The Golden Globes are all about film and television, so you may be wondering why Taylor Swift is there. Well, it turns out the musician made an appearance because she herself is up for an award, thanks to one of her songs “Beautiful Ghosts,” which was featured in Cats.

Taylor is nominated for Original Song at the 2020 Golden Globes, which took place on January 5. This wasn’t the first time Taylor attended the prestigious award show, though. The 30-year-old singer made a surprise appearance last year when she was a presenter. In addition, her beau, Joe Alwyn, was there too because he received 5 nods that night. That being said, she could also have been there to support her man, whom she’s been dating for quite some time now.
