Michael B. Jordan Cast Taylor Russell in ‘Thomas Crown Affair’ Because They Had ‘Immediate Chemistry’
Instant sparks! Michael B. Jordan, 38, is set to direct and star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair and has cast Harry Styles’ ex Taylor Russell, 30, as his leading lady.
“A big part of why she got the role was their immediate chemistry,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style of the pair, who were spotted together in London on March 9. “They’re finding all these excuses to hang out and the flirting is hard to miss, but they’ve been trying to keep things professional.”
That might be more difficult during filming, the source points out, noting that the 1999 movie version featured lots of steamy scenes between Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. “Everyone’s saying it’s only a matter of time before they’re a real couple!”
