Zach Bryan Yells at Crowd to Not ‘Throw S–t at Concerts’ After Fan Tossed Something on Stage

Putting his foot down! Zach Bryan made it clear that he won’t tolerate fans throwing anything at him or his band during his concerts.

The country singer, 28, scolded the crowd at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, after a fan threw something on stage during his The Quittin’ Time tour show on November 23. It’s unclear what the item was.

“Who was it? Does anyone know?” Zach asked repeatedly, as seen in video footage shared by a fan via TMX on Tuesday, November 26. “Don’t throw s–t at concerts, huh?” The concertgoers erupted in cheers as Zach added, “And if you guys do know who threw it, we can get them out of here, if you ever find out who did it.”

The incident came amid backlash that Zach has faced in the wake of his split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The “Pink Skies” singer announced their breakup via his Instagram Stories on October 22.

“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” he wrote. “She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her.”

Zach went on to explain the reason for calling it quits, alluding to personal struggles in recent months.

“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be,” he continued. He did not get into specifics.

“Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this, and if you have it in your heart, mine too. With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself,” Zach continued.

Despite the breakup appearing to be a mutual decision, Brianna, 25, wrote on her own Instagram Stories that she was “feeling really blindsided right now.”

“Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk. I love you guys so much thank you for all of your kind words. Remember you are so loved and everything’s always gonna be OK,” she continued.

Brianna later clarified that she was “blindsided” by Zach’s post announcing their split because it came only one day after the breakup happened. He allegedly did not warn her that he was going to go public with the news so soon.

“I’ve been crying for like, five days straight,” she explained. “I’m just at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn’t because you just love them and you want them … like you see the good in them.”

The internet personality continued, “How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days? It’s really, really heartbreaking and I don’t want to talk about details right now. I don’t want to talk about it yet.”

Brianna later alleged during the November 7 episode of her “BFFs” podcast with Dave Portnoy that Zach, whom she began dating in July 2023, abused her during their romance.

“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she said. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared.”

Brianna also claimed that Zach said she “wasn’t allowed” to listen to Noah Kahan’s music and that they got into a huge fight over her dress for the 2024 Golden Globes. That was f–king crazy. That was the first time he had really tried to control what I wore and what I posted,” she recalled. “So I went to the Golden Globes and I posted like a carousel of pictures, and he didn’t like my dress.”

Zach has not publicly commented on his ex’s claims.
