Aaron Paul revealed he’s in “serious talks” to join the Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul, giving insight to Jesse’s life as a low-level drug dealer before he meets up with his former chemistry teacher Walter White.
“Anything [Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan] is involved with, I’m there,” the 34-year-old told the Associated Press while promoting his upcoming action flick, Need For Speed.

The news comes one month after it was announced that Jonathan Banks, who played Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad, is slated to join the AMC spinoff, which will also star Bob Odenkirk.

“I’d be open to it for sure,” he said. “It’d be fun to go back into the New Mexico desert and play with all my old friends.”

“Personally, I’d have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in October.
