Another week, another rose ceremony. However, Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. annoyed not just viewers, but fellow contestants with his choices on the Jan. 22 episode. So, who went home last night on The Bachelor? (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!)
The 36-year-old said goodbye to two ladies at the rose ceremony — Brittany and Caroline — after Maquel left on her own following news that her grandfather had died. Brittany didn't seem all that beaten up about it, telling Arie, "Don't feel bad." The tech recruiter did break down while talking to the camera, though, but was more worried about staying single forever than losing out on becoming the race car driver's wife. "I'm sad to go, but this is just one chapter in my life, so I'm ready to go to the next one. I just want to find somebody, like soon. I'm hopeful," she shared.
Caroline was shocked to be passed over in favor of Krystal, who caused plenty of drama during the episode. "I can't believe that he chose Krystal over me," the realtor admitted. "I am obviously heartbroken. It's hard to, like, put yourself out there, and I didn't put myself out there as much as I could have. But he let me go, and it's hard because people like Krystal needed to go home."
Hopefully, these beauties are following in their dismissed predecessors' footsteps and rebranding themselves on social media — because, you know, priorities. Immediately after the first rose ceremony Ali, Amber, Brianna, Brittane, Jessica, Lauren J., Nysha, and Olivia announced they were joining forces as the “The Rosé Girls," complete with a photo shoot, a shiny new Instagram, and a YouTube channel.
“Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can come together like the seven of us and we like to call ourselves the Rosé Girls,” they captioned their first Instagram. “Our time might have been short, but fall in love with us here.” We’re still unsure how to feel about this. On the one hand, we’re impressed with their effort to build a loyal fanbase
to sell Flat Tummy Tea and we love to see women who are there to make friends… but on the other hand... really, ladies?! At the end of the day, we can’t knock any girl for trying!
