The Lyrics to Dan and Shay’s Song ‘10,000 Hours’ With Justin Bieber Are Romantic AF
Bitten by the love bug! On the heels of his wedding to Hailey Baldwin, singer Justin Bieber released a new song with country music duo Dan + Shay (real names Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) and it’s romantic as hell. The lyrics to “10,000 Hours” are sure to put a smile on your face … they certainly did at Jailey’s reception.
The guests at Justin, 25, and the 22-year-old model’s South Carolina nuptials got an unexpected sneak preview of “10,000 Hours.” Dan and Shay were in attendance during the big day and sang a few of their hits for the crowd, including their newest collab with the “Love Yourself” artist. “That was unplanned. Justin came up and wanted to do it,” Shay, 27, dished during an interview with Taste of Country on October 3. It sounds like it was the perfect nod to his bride.
The “Company” artist sings in the chorus: “I’d spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more/Oh, if that’s what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours/And I might never get there, but I’m gonna try/If it’s ten thousand hours or the rest of my life.”
He also belts out later in the song, “Ooh, want the good and the bad and everything in between/Ooh, gotta cure my curiosity.”
Fans are already loving the new track. “Hailey Bieber won at life, y’all,” one person commented on Justin’s Instagram post announcing the song’s release. “Every time u drop a new song I fall in love with your voice all over again,” someone else gushed. “I’d spend 10,000 hours listening to your music,” a comment read while another user echoed, “Literally have had this on repeat for the entire 22 minutes it’s been public.”
Justin and the gorgeous model have been fully embracing their newlywed status. The Drop the Mic host has been rocking clothing and jewelry that says “wifey” since walking down the aisle while the “Love Me” artist bought himself some new bling to celebrate. The blonde beauty even had “a blast” during a traditional bachelorette party with Kendall Jenner and some other members of her inner circle. “Even though no one could see them at the restaurant you could hear the excitement and loud voices from outside — there was lots of laughter and cheering,” a source divulged exclusively to Life & Style.
It looks like Justin and Hailey have a lot of love in their future!
