Abby Lee Miller Slams Dancer in New ‘Dance Moms’ Teaser: ‘Your Kid Doesn’t Have a Chance … She Sucks!’

Basically, the clip opens to a group of fresh new faces ready to impress the ALDC’s 53-year-old HBIC, Abby Lee. If you’re a fan of the show, however, then you already know that praise from Abby is pretty much impossible.

Instead of offering her dancers words of wisdom, she decided to go the scary route. “As a dancer, you put your heart out there everyday,” she began, while holding what appears to be a fake human heart. 

“Somebody … is going to stab it!” Abby continued, while plunging her fist into the rubber organ. Not going to lie, we got the chills the first time we watched it (OK, and maybe the second and third time, too).

“I fought hard to be here,” Abby expressed to her team. “You have to fight hard to be a champion.”

Considering Abby’s ongoing health battle, it’s hardly a surprise that she would try and instill that same level of resilience in her dancers. If anyone is a fighter, it’s Abby Lee, that’s for sure.  

That said, Abby’s particular brand of tough love is often too much for her dancers (and their parents) to handle. It’s rare for a single episode to go by without a child hysterically crying.

As it happens, the new teaser was no exception and this poor girl was the target. To be fair, though, Abby is generally hardest on the dancers she sees the most potential in.

At the end of the day, as boisterous as Abby can be, the show is truly about the talent! These young men and women are *beyond* skilled at what they do. Basically, if your favorite part of the episode isn’t the competition, we’re sorry, but … we can’t be friends.

Even so, the name of the series is Dance Moms and with that, the parents of the talent are definitely the center of attention more often than not. So much so, that Abby has no issue getting in their faces, either. In one scene, she tells a dancer’s mom, “Your kid doesn’t have a chance … she sucks!”

Don’t get it twisted, though! These moms are just as likely to fight with each other as they are with Abby.

For real, it’s pretty wild how often things almost come to physical blows between the parents. Thankfully, that has yet to happen — emphasis on the yet. 

From what we can tell, Abby will most definitely be kicking dancers — yes, plural — off the team this season. *Gasp.*

To be honest, we can’t imagine any of these kiddos not being talented enough. Take this girl with her legs legit over head, for example. That certainly doesn’t look easy.

Unfortunately, when it comes to the ALDC, it isn’t always about talent. Abby’s style of coaching isn’t for everyone. You have to be tough!

If you’re not able to handle what Abby has to say, there’s a strong chance you’ll be heading home — this applies to both the parents and dancers!

If you thought Abby’s cancer diagnosis made her soft, you thought wrong! She’s going just as hard this season … if not more.

We are definitely excited for all of the twists, turns and hopefully, first place trophies.

“Watch out,” Abby warned in the last seconds of the teaser. Oh, don’t you worry, Abby, we will.
