ACE Family’s Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom Announce Baby No. 3’s Name — See the Meaning
Aww! Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom welcomed their third child — a baby boy — and gave him the sweetest name. They decided on the moniker Steel. She said they already came up with it a while ago and the proud mama “loves it.”
“It’s the completion of our family,” she explained on July 1. “It’s the S in Aces.”
“It reminds me of a super hero because it’s so strong,” the doting daddy added.
If you’re a member of the ACE family, then you may have already known the moniker the parents of three picked out for their baby boy was going to be inspired by the word Ace. The YouTubers actually named their channel that to pay tribute to their own names as well as their first daughter Elle’s.
They decided to continue the tradition once their second daughter, Alaïa, was born in October 2018. Now, they’ve done it again with the newest addition to the family.
Catherine previously revealed she sensed she would someday have a boy. The 29-year-old recalled when she visited a psychic, who predicted lots of details of her life that ended up actually coming true.
“She said, ‘This man is going to be biracial,’” Catherine said about the conversation with the fortune teller when she was 12 years old. “‘So different races. He’s going to be an athlete and you guys are going to be a very powerful family and touch a lot of people’s lives. I see three kids in your future. I don’t know who’s who, but I do know that your last one is going to be a boy. She said that he’s going to protect me … He’s going to be my protector.”
The psychic was spot-on! Austin’s mom is black and his dad is white, he was pursuing a career as a professional basketball player prior to making YouTube videos and now the couple have three children — two girls and one boy.
The married pair have been looking forward to their baby boy’s arrival ever since they found out they were expecting in September 2019. However, they didn’t share the news with the public until January.
“I wanted to keep you to myself for as long as I could and now after all these months of privately enjoying some time with our family, I am filled with so much joy to share you with the world,” Catherine wrote in an Instagram post at the time.
