Hmm … it sounds like Mama June Shannon might be walking down the aisle sooner than we think! Alana Thompson a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon dished exclusively to Life & Style about the upcoming season of Mama June: From Not to Hot and boy, it sounds like we’re in for a wild ride.
Last season, Mama June told her boyfriend, Geno Doak, that she wanted to tie the knot. So, did her man change his mind? “I can’t really say, but there may or may not be a ring on the finger this season,” the 13-year-old explained.
One thing is for sure: Alana and Pumpkin both approve of their mom’s relationship. “I feel good about it, you know,” Alana confessed. “I am really excited for everyone to see if there is going to be a ring or not a ring. Geno is a really good father figure to us, not just me but to everybody. He is really nice to all of us and is always there for us.”
Pumpkin, 19, added, “I would like to see them get married because I know momma is happy and I haven’t seen her happy in a long time. I like that he showed Alana what a father is and what to look up to.”
In the upcoming trailer, it’s revealed that the matriarch, 39, might be pregnant! “Well, I believe there are already enough of us, as in girls, but you will have to watch the show to see,” Pumpkin teased.
Fans will also get to see Alana compete on Dancing With the Stars, which she loved. “I met a lot of friends that I will never forget and I made a lot of memories that I will never forget,” she said. “It was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had.”
The reality star even keeps in touch with her mentor Artem Chigvintsev! “We talk at least once or twice a month,” she revealed. “So, we just make sure each other is doing good.”
