It’s all True
“I wanted to confirm — just because it’s already been confirmed — but I wanted you guys to hear it from me that yes, Bobby and I broke up,” she admitted. Her ex posted about the news on Instagram and made it clear that there was no foul play. He commented to a fan, “There was no cheating. … I’d always be there for the girls and I’ve voiced that many a time. Coming from having a deadbeat dad, I’ve chosen to live my life nothing like him. They touched my heart and vice versa. No matter what, I’ll always be around for them.”

No Need to Worry

Still Bummed That It’s Over
Sadly, she revealed that she thought them moving into their new Laguna Beach home together was a stepping stone to getting engaged. “We had a great relationship, it wasn’t toxic,” she added. “It was actually the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in. He was my best friend, I was super happy and that was not fake.”

Wasn’t Fully in It
She explained, “I was surprised but, at the end of the day, people should do what makes them happy and people are allowed to change their minds. If you have doubts about somebody or you’re not feeling it, I respect the decision to break up with them and not lead them on because eventually, that’s going to happen.”

Clean Break
Don’t plan on a reconciliation anytime soon (or ever). “I personally don’t believe in breaking up and getting back together,” Amanda confessed. “It’s something that I told him. I just don’t think it works out. I think if you break up with someone, you break up for a reason and 99 percent of the time when you get back together with someone after breaking up I don’t think it works out.”

A Little Insight
She noted, “I also don’t know how I would be able to get back in a relationship where I thought things were going great and then it suddenly ended. I would just constantly worry, even when I thought things were going good, I would just worry. So, that’s not something that’s going to happen.”

Not What It Looks Like
Right after news broke, Amanda was seen on social media hanging out at the pool with friends. Time for Herself
Those trips look ultra glam but that’s not how the starlet plans on living her day-to-day life. “I am planning on spending a lot of time with my kids, my family, people that love me. Focus a lot on myself and my career. I’m not trying to jump back into dating,” she said.

Don’t Believe Everything You See on Instagram
She continued, “I wanted to clarify how I was handling it because I know it may look one way on social media but I am trying to handle this the healthiest best way that I can … Going out and partying is not the right way to handle a break up.”

Driving the Point Home
“I don’t even party … It might seem like it but it couldn’t be farther from the truth,” she wrote in a caption on the video just to be crystal clear.
