Former Bachelor contestant Amanda Stanton tearfully revealed on her Instagram Story that a hacker stole topless photos of her from her plastic surgeon’s office. The person then tried to extort money from the reality star by threatening to send the private pictures to her friends. The mom-of-two addressed the issue in hopes that it would stop.

“I just wanted to come on here and tell you guys a little bit about what’s going on,” the 28-year-old began in the video. She then recounted the moment “about three weeks ago” when she received an email from a stranger who threatened her with photos they illegally obtained. She explained, “[He] had said that he hacked my doctor’s database from when I had my breast augmentation. And that he had some nude photos of me … Which is just stupid because they’re medical photos but he was basically asking for a lot of money and threatening to send the photos to everybody that I follow.”

The threats kept coming and eventually turned real. “He said that even if I unfollowed everybody that he had them documented so he already knew who I followed. [He] slowly started sending my photos to people … He sent them to my friend’s boyfriend, he sent them to people I work with, he sent them to producers at ABC. And, it was just kind of out of my control and there was nothing I could do about it.”

In addition to leaking her private photos, the reality starlet added that the person was “sending me just really weird messages and harassing me every single day.”

The Bachelor Nation alum decided to address the issue because more and more pictures were being sent out. The California native admitted, “I’ve had a lot of people text me and DM me that they have received the messages from him … If you get the photos, I just hope that you will be respectful and understand that it’s been really hard for me and just keep them private.” She noted, “I just don’t want to give someone that power over me and I hope that maybe just by addressing it he’ll stop.”

The starlet continued, “It’s not even that I’m sad about the photos … Of course, it’s something I didn’t want out there but it’s not the end of the world if people see my boobs. I think I’m just so frustrated and I feel very violated … I don’t know what other information this person has.”

Amanda provided an update for followers later that evening. “Good news, the hacker has left me alone since I posted that … For all of you telling me to contact the police, I have already done that … The police have been contacted and I have done everything I can to get the situation handled.”

She acknowledged that there’s a chance the hacker would publicly post the photos so she’s trying to take it all in stride. “If he does end up posting them public … I hope you guys are respectful of the situation.” The author even tried to make light of the drama by half-heartedly saying, “The photos that he has of me are just of my pre-op not post-op. So, you know, if you do see them, you’ll see why I got the surgery in the first place. They’re not the most flattering photos of me but, yeah, it’s out of my control.”
