Just because her first engagement tanked, doesn’t mean Lauren Bushnell won’t make it down the aisle the second time around! As a matter of fact, her bestie Amanda Stanton believes new fiancé Chris Lane is much “more compatible” with the blonde bombshell than Bachelor Ben Higgins was.

“I am so happy for them,” gushed Amanda in an exclusive interview with Life & Style while promoting her new tell-all book Now Accepting Roses: Finding Myself While Searching for the One…and Other Lessons I Learned from ‘The Bachelor,’ which will be out on September 3. “I think they’re the cutest couple and they’re literally perfect together.”

Amanda, who knows a thing or two about social media, reveals that their love is the real deal, not just something cute for attention on the internet. “You know when you see couples on Instagram and you’re like ‘I wonder if they’re really like that in real life?’ They’re literally the perfect couple in real life,” Amanda revealed. “I’m super super happy for her.”

She’s also convinced that Chris and Lauren are in it for the long haul, because he’s simply a better fit for the reality star than her former flame. “I think Ben’s a great guy and I love Ben,” Amanda admitted. “But I think her and Chris are more compatible.” That makes total sense! Fans quickly realized that Ben and Lauren weren’t exactly soulmates while watching their spinoff reality show Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Plus, it didn’t help that the Bachelor star also told his runner-up JoJo Fletcher that he was in love with her. At least this time, Lauren knows for sure that she’s Chris’ one and only. He even orchestrated an over-the-top surprise proposal at her parents’ house, complete with a homemade video and song written in her honor! We hope that feeling lasts a lifetime.
