When it comes to celebrity exchanges on Instagram, nothing is better than two famous mamas keeping it real. Enter: Amber Rose and Amy Schumer. On Monday, October 28, Amy took to social media to make a joke (as comedians do) about her Halloween costume.
“I look alright in my costume?” the I Feel Pretty actress, 38, captioned a literal photo of a tugboat, along with the hashtag “baby weight.” That’s when Amber, who gave birth to her second child on October 10, chimed in with some words of encouragement.
“Awww, it’s natural, sis! I still look like I’m six months pregnant,” the 36-year-old model assured while adding some sweet emojis. Naturally, Amy’s other followers had nothing but admiration for her great sense of humor. “You are so freakin’ hilarious! That’s awesome,” one user gushed. “Stop! I’m dying. Don’t worry about it, girl! You’ll get there when you get there,” added another.
“My cheeks and stomach hurt from laughing! This is why I love you,” a third user wrote, while a fourth echoed, “You’re too funny! This is my favorite Halloween look so far.” Our sentiments exactly! We appreciate Amy for always telling it like it is. Of course, this is hardly the first time that Amy has poked fun at her post-pregnancy body since giving birth to her son, Gene, in May.
In September, the stand-up comic revealed that she made some serious strides in the fitness department by calling out none other than post-baby weight loss extraordinaire Jessica Simpson. “OK, Simpson! Well I’ve lost 10 pounds and 100 dollars to my sister playing poker,” she captioned a cute snapshot of herself and sister Kim Caramele at the beach.
