Congrats, Mama! Jessica Simpson Gives Birth to Her Third Child, Birdie Mae Johnson
The Jess-tation period is over! Jessica Simpson just gave birth to new daughter Birdie Mae Johnson on March 19, 2019, Life & Style can confirm, and we bet she’s absolute perfection.
The singer, 38, took to social media to share the great news just after the birth was confirmed. “Birdie Mae Johnson, 3.19.19, 10 pounds 13 ounces,” she wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a sweet black and white photo of the newborn holding hands with one of her other children.
Jess, 38, already has two other kids — Maxwell Drew, 6, and Ace Knute Johnson, 5, with former NFL pro Eric Johnson.
Like many celeb moms, the star has been documenting her pregnancy for fans to see on social media. In January, Jessica had a baby shower for her little one, surrounded by friends and family. It was there she revealed her daughter’s name with decor that read “Birdie’s Nest.”
While she makes pregnancy look like an amazing journey, it’s not all that perfect. The fashion designer shared some pretty straight-forward pics of her swollen feet, asking fans for tips on how to reduce the swelling. Despite the fact that she struggled, she still has a sense of humor! Jess basically won the 10-year challenge when she posted a side by side snap of her swollen foot next to a photo of her legs in 2009, which looked pretty normal. She was able to find a solution, though, and updated her fans. Her foot went back to normal thanks to cupping. So, you may wanna try that if you’re having a similar issue.
The mom-of-three recently posted a picture of Maxwell and Ace in their school uniforms to help her stay motivated throughout her hardships and struggles. “The one thing that gets me through this pregnancy is knowing I will get another one of these cuties,” she wrote on Instagram. She got through it and can now enjoy her baby girl to the fullest. Congrats, girl!
