Too cute! Amy Schumer revealed her newborn son‘s name and he’s so adorable. She and her husband, Chris Fischer, introduced Gene Attell Fischer on Instagram and it’s the sweetest thing you’ll see all week.

The picture posted on Tuesday, May 7, showed Gene cuddling with Chris, 39, and the new parents seem like they’re enjoying these precious first few days. The sweet baby already has huge eyes and a head full of hair. The 37-year-old’s famous friends flocked to congratulate her and the chef on their bundle of joy.

Actress Glenn Close wrote, “Congratulations, Amy! YOU DID IT! He is gorgeous. Sending love.” Model Cindy Crawford gushed, “Better than the Met Ball! Congrats!” Pitch Perfect star Ben Platt praised the name while Lena Dunham added, “Beauty boy and perfect best name.”

It was amazing to see all the support that the new parents are receiving. “Oh my God he’s so beautiful. Look at his eyes … Congratulations, Mama! I’m so happy for you all!” Debra Messing commented. Even Jersey Shore star Snooki jumped in and raved, “Omg those eyes!” Needless to say, Gene is already an Instagram sensation.

Amy gave birth on Sunday, May 5, and announced the news the following evening by writing, “10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born.” She and Chris looked thrilled about their growing family. The comedian has had a long nine months. Like many women, her pregnancy was more uncomfortable because of hyperemesis gravidarum. According to the American Pregnancy Association, it is “a condition characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss and electrolyte disturbance. Mild cases are treated with dietary changes, rest and antacids.”

It obviously hit Amy hard. In November 2018, the Snatched actress ended up canceling the remainder of her stand-up shows. “Texas I am so deeply sorry. I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls–t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell! And Texas I am really really sorry and I’ll be out there as soon as I’m better.”

Amy handled it like a boss and now hopefully she’ll have some much deserved quiet time with Gene and Chris.
