New Couple Alert?KJ Apa and Britt Robertson Spark Dating Rumors After They Were Spotted ‘Kissing’
Are KJ Apa and Britt Robertson Hollywood’s newest couple? Maybe! The Riverdale star, 22, and the Longest Ride alum, 29, were spotted getting very cozy with each other at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-con party on Saturday, July 21, according to Us Weekly.
Apparently, the New Zealand native was “hugging her,” the insider revealed. At some point in the night, they were also allegedly seen “leaning in and kissing each other.” The pair of actors also hung out with KJ’s Riverdale costars, including Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch, the outlet noted.
KJ and the blonde beauty met while filming their 2017 movie A Dog’s Purpose. They are also set to play each other’s love interest in the forthcoming film I Still Believe, so it looks like these two will be spending lots of time together.
Britt was most recently linked to Quantico’s Graham Rogers. Prior to that, she dated Dylan O’Brien from 2012 to 2018. The former couple met on the set of their 2012 movie The First Time.
On the other hand, there’s not much out there about KJ’s love life. He rose to fame in 2017 thanks to his role of Archie Andrews on Riverdale, and he’s remained pretty private about his personal life since then.
His Riverdale costar Mark Consuelos seems to agree, noting that KJ is all about remaining low-key. “His parents did a really good job raising him,” the 48-year-old told GQ in May.
“He’s doing a great job, he does great work. He focuses on what’s important. I’m speaking for him, but he’s really not interested, I think, in all the trappings of celebrity,” he continued. “He’d probably be really, really happy just playing his guitar, to be honest with you.”
Mark also praised KJ for being an all-around nice person. “There’s this natural earnestness about KJ,” he said. “He knows the name of every single person on set. It’s inherently in him, this sincere, wants to do the right thing type of guy. It’s not a stretch.”
It sounds like Britt and KJ would be perfect for each other!
