Ashley Graham Poses With Her Sister for a Swimsuits For All Summer 2019 Collection Launch

Ashley and Abigail visited a gorgeous beach in Punta Cana for the shoot, which conveyed their unique bond. The sisters took it a step further when they decided to recreate some of the poses in their favorite childhood photos together. How sweet!

“Despite our six-year age difference and busy lifestyles, my little sister and I have always been strong presences in each other’s lives,” Ash told PR Newswire. We’ve shared countless memories together and going through our childhood photos was a trip down memory lane.”

“Abigail has always been my rock, and I was honored to have her by my side during this photo shoot,” she added. “Plus, she’s a new mom and has never looked hotter in a swimsuit!”

Abigail made sure to return the love to her sister. “I love to support Ashley in everything she does, especially when it comes to promoting her message of beauty beyond size,” she gushed. “As children, Ashley and I created a very tight bond that we have been able to carry over to adulthood.”

Abby then gave a glimpse of her childhood with her big sis. “Every summer, we would go on road trips together to different states,” she said. “I’ll never forget Ashley getting stung by jellyfish in Florida. It was hilarious!”

It’s obvious how close these sisters are. They even took to social media to continue to their adoration for each other.

“Couldn’t be more excited to have my stunning sister @abigailgrahamralston by my side in my new @swimsuitsforall campaign,” The Sports Illustrated alum began her Instagram post.

Then, she poured her heart out with an emotional message. “Abby, we have been through it all together … from the late night phone calls and last minute vacations to tears and laughter navigating our way through marriage, babies and all that life has brought us,” Ash continued.

“The best thing about it all is getting to do it with you! I’m so proud to be your big sister. And it was fun to see you rocking these suits!” she concluded.

Of course, Abby did the same in a separate Insta post of them both of “then and now” pics. “Had the best time joining my sis @ashleygraham in her new @swimsuitsforall campaign and recreating some of our favorite pics from childhood! Love ya, sissy!! Sistahhh sistaaahhhh!!!” she wrote.

The collection includes nine pieces, which can all be purchased online. Prices vary depending on the bathing suit, with all swimwear retailing under $104.

The supermodel debuted her line in 2015. Her main purpose was to create inclusivity for all body types and fortunately, she’s been successful at that, considering swimsuits vary from size 4 to 26.

She also used her own body as inspiration for the collection.”I didn’t have sexy, supportive lingerie that I could find for my size. And same goes with bikinis, I wanted little tiny string bikinis and nobody wanted to make them for my curvy-ass body, so I did it!” she told Vogue in March 2019.

This idea wouldn’t just benefit people wearing the bathing suits, but also the people behind the scenes, and Ashley was well aware of that. “I think what it does is it opens up the eyes to designers also and says, ‘oh wow, if she’s making these clothes, lingerie, and swim and they’re selling out, then what does that mean?’ Well, it means that the curve industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and that more people should get involved,” she told the outlet.

Ashley is so keen on including everyone, especially her family. In 2018, she collaborated with her role model on a shoot — her mom.

“My mom has been my role model since childhood and has played a vital role in developing my confidence,” Ashley said in a press release at the time.

She owes it to her mom for her amazing mindset when it comes to beauty standards. “She promoted body positivity in our household before it was a movement. Her feel-good attitude toward her own body has shaped my ability to remain positive and self-assured,” Ashley added.

Coincidentally, they help each other out. “I haven’t worn a bikini since the 80s!” Linda, Ashley’s mom, said at the time. “I don’t think I could have uncovered that inner strength without Ashley. That makes being a part of this campaign so much more special — she’s my rock and inspired me at age 53 to be proud of my body again after I lost my own fortitude.”

The strong bond between Ash and her mom continues! For Mother’s Day, the two vacationed together and spent some quality time in Mexico.
