Ashton Kutcher Said Mila Kunis Did Way More Parenting With Their Kids Than He Did

Celebrity parents Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis share two kids together — Wyatt, 3, and Dimitri, 1 — and the actor admitted he didn’t do much parenting when they were really young. Ashton made an appearance on Dax Shepard‘s new podcast, Armchair Expert, and talked about his and Mila’s routine when it comes to taking care of their children.

He said, “We both get up, every morning. In the middle of the night, we flipped it back and forth. Because she was breastfeeding the kids, she did way more than her share, I would say probably 80/20 because she could go and breastfeed them and put them back down when they were little. I mean, now they don’t wake up at night, which is good.”

A source exclusively told Life & Style — before Mila gave birth to the couple’s son — that they didn’t always agree on how many kids they were actually going to have. “Ashton has always wanted three or four kids, but Mila only wants two. Now that she’ll have one of each gender, Mila feels she can be done having babies.”

Since Ashton fessed up to his lack of parenting, it makes sense why Mila told People, “I will only have two. But I have heard [moving from] two to three is the hard [jump]. [It’s hard] when they outnumber you.”

The couple got married in 2015 but their relationship started long before that. The pair starred on That ’70s Show together but it wasn’t love at first sight. Ashton previously appeared on The Howard Stern Show and said, “I think I was her first kiss, like, on the show. It was really weird. I was like, ‘Isn’t this illegal?’ It was really awkward. She was 14! She was like my little sister. I wanted to make sure she was OK.”
