Basketball wife and cookbook author Ayesha Curry got very candid about undergoing a breast augmentation after giving birth to her second child. Unfortunately, she was not happy with the results and regrets altering her body. In hindsight, she thinks postpartum depression was behind her quick choice to go under the knife at the time.

“I didn’t realize at the time, but after having Ryan, I was battling a bit of postpartum that lingered for a while. It came in the form of me being depressed about my body,” she explained to Working Mother in an interview that was published on Monday, May 13. “So I made a rash decision. The intention was just to have them lifted, but I came out with these bigger boobs I didn’t want. I got the most botched boob job on the face of the planet.”

The busy mom, 30, confessed that she’s done with plastic surgery but that’s not to say she’s completely against it. She admitted, “They’re worse now than they were before. I would never do anything like that again, but I’m an advocate of if something makes you happy, who cares about the judgment?”

Ayesha and her NBA star hubby, Stephen Curry, share three children — Riley, 5, Ryan, 3, and Canon, 10 months. Her two daughters may just be small tots but they’ve inspired the restauranteur to embrace her body and find self-acceptance. “I’m not in the entertainment industry, in the traditional sense. I’m not thin; I’m 170 pounds on a good day,” the Food Network host said. “It’s been a journey for me, and that’s why I want my girls to understand who they are — and to love it.”

Being a working mom has also helped the Canadian beauty find her strength. “It makes me feel like I can take on anything … The little things that used to seem like problems aren’t problems at all anymore. Things roll off my back more easily,” she acknowledged.

Ayesha is killing the game and we love her for it!
