Bachelor’s Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa’s Relationship Timeline: From Premiere to Engagement

Their 1st Impression

Fans watched Grant and Juliana meet for the first time during the season 29 premiere on January 27, 2025. While she didn’t get the first impression rose, she was memorable enough to secure a rose during the season’s first rose ceremony.

Their 1st Group Date

After Juliana was given a rose during the premiere episode, she was included on the first group date of the season during the February 3, 2025, episode.

The date saw Juliana, Beverly, Sarafiena, Alli Jo, Natalie, Parisa, Vicky, Chloie, Zoe and Allyshia playing basketball with Grant and a group of kids. The women ultimately split up into two teams to play a game of basketball. Following the match, Grant and the women got to know each other better during a cocktail party.

Their 1-on-1 Date

Juliana and Grant got to know each other even better when they went on their first one-on-one date during the February 25, 2025, episode. The pair enjoyed a Pretty Woman-themed date, where they got dressed up and enjoyed a ball and intimate dinner in Scotland.

The pair bonded when Juliana opened up about seeing a loved one struggle with addiction made her feel alone during her childhood.

“Growing up, I was put in a difficult position where someone really close to me had a problem with addiction. It took the time away from me as a small kid from growing up in the loving family I am so appreciative (of) today — I didn’t really have that back then,” she told Grant. “I think the struggle has made me stronger. That is why I come off as happy all the time … I’m afraid of the darkness that I saw. I’m afraid of going back there.”

Juliana added that the situation helped her develop a positive coping mechanism. “Laughing and smiling is a coping mechanism for me in a lot of ways,” she said.

Grant – who has been open about his father’s struggles with addiction – said that her confession helped him better relate to Juliana. “It’s like I was looking at a reflection of myself,” he said in a confessional.

Juliana’s Hometown Date

Grant visited Juliana and her family in her hometown of Newton, Massachusetts, during the March 3, 2025, episode.

The date began with the couple visiting a pizzeria, where they made heart-shaped pizzas and snacked on a cannoli.

They then went to Juliana’s family’s house to meet her parents and sister, as well as several of her extended family members.

While talking to her father, Juliana’s dad told Grant that he feared she would be “collateral damage” on his journey to find love. However, Grant insisted that wasn’t the case and said he was “super serious” about Juliana.

Grant eventually got Juliana’s father’s approval, and the date ended with him revealing that he was “falling” for her and believed they could be a good “fit” for each other. “So I’m excited and I’m happy,” Grant told Juliana.

“My heart’s dancing because I just feel on top of the world,” Juliana told the cameras at the end of the date.

Fantasy Suite Week

Fans continued to watch Grant and Juliana’s romance unfold during the Fantasy Suite week on March 17, 2025. Their date began with an ATVing adventure in the Dominican Republic, followed by an intimate dinner.

Juliana expressed her stress about not being the only woman left on the journey, and she also opened up about how she had been cheated on in the past. “It did, like, a lot of damage to me that’s hard to talk about and admit,” she said. “You know, it broke me to the point that I had to walk away.”

She said that she was “a little broken” following her ex’s infidelity, and admitted she was “still working to fix myself.”

“I look at you and I’m like who … somebody messed up letting you down like that,” Grant responded. “Where somebody else messed up, I see treasure.”

The pair went on to spend private time together during their overnight date, and the cameras caught up with them the following morning. Juliana said that their night together was a “12 out of 10 experience,” sharing that they “said a lot of things” and “had a lot of fun.”

During the confessional, Juliana said that the overnight date gave them “the space and opportunity to just go deeper.” She concluded, “It was exactly what we needed.”

Their Engagement

Grant gave Juliana his final rose during the finale on March 24, 2025, and they ended the season as an engaged couple. “I truly believe you’re somebody who is my best friend and I’m so grateful for our journey,” Grant said to Juliana during the proposal. “And when you’re going through the toughest times in your life, I want you to know that you don’t have to go though it alone, that I’ll be there for you as your man, as your friend, as your partner. Juliana, will you marry me?”

‘After the Final Rose’ Update

After fans watched Grant and Juliana get engaged during the season finale, the couple confirmed they’re still going strong during the After the Final Rose special. “It was all worth it,” Grant said about the experience. “To find someone who is your life partner is truly hard, so it was worth it.”

Juliana chimed in to say that the moment felt “surreal.” She continued, “The whole journey has been a bit like a fever dream.”

The pair added that Grant was moving to Boston to live with Juliana.
