D’aww, Blake Shelton misses his lady! According to Radar Online, the beloved Voice coach is desperate for his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, to return the NBC series.

“Blake absolutely wants Gwen back on the show,” an on-set source told the outlet. “It just isn’t the same for him without her,” they added.

The cutest part? The mother-of-three reportedly feels the same way. “Gwen wants to come back, too,” said the source. “She gets along with everyone and is on set frequently anyways just to be there with him — it’s like a second home to her.”

The question is, however, will Gwen actually make a comeback? Well, the source noted that while NBC “absolutely [adores]” Gwen, that there are other factors potentially preventing her return.

“Although it would be a dream come true to have Gwen on in the near future, everyone also knows that they need to have a more diversified panel of judges to represent America,” the source explained. Totally fair! We can support that.

In that case, perhaps Gwen can make a cameo as an advisor. After all, the judges are reportedly none too pleased that Mariah Carey will be filling that role.

“No one wanted her to join the show. They privately voiced their opinions and they were all overturned by NBC,” an insider previously told Radar. “It was unanimous that the coaches didn’t want her and now they feel their voices don’t matter. They think it won’t be good for the show and they don’t want the drama and stress she brings to shows she’s on.”

Yikes! Here’s hoping that Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Blake are able to keep tensions at bay. Then again, maybe if things go really awry — Gwen will come back. Wink, wink.
