Caelynn Miller-Keyes Arrives in Switzerland, Shares Update on Dean Unglert’s Health
Together at last! Bachelor Nation faves Dean Unglert and girlfriend Caelynn Miller-Keyes have finally reunited in Switzerland after the Bachelor in Paradise star’s scary accident while skiing in the Swiss Alps. The 24-year-old shared an update on Dean, 28, and his condition on December 28, after arriving at the hospital the night before.
“He’s finally free,” the brunette beauty wrote over a slow zoom-in video of her boyfriend sitting in a chair decked out in winter gear, who awkwardly giggled at the camera before asking her, “Yes?” The BIP alum also shared a snap of his girlfriend laying with him in his hospital bed and watching something on an iPad on his Instagram Stories. “Lots of naps, lots of ‘You,'” Caelynn captioned her regram of the sweet image.
The excited Bachelor babe also posted a cute video of herself on a train to round out the memorable moment. “Busted @deanie_babies out of the hospital today and explored a little bit of Switzerland,” she captioned the vid, adding a snowy mountain emoji. “Great video. Wonderful music. Meh caption,” her boyfriend replied in the comments section. LOL!
ICYMI: Dean recently wiped out hard while skiing the Swiss Alps, a major bucket list accomplishment he’s dreamed about “all [his] life.” The Bachelorette alum dislocated his hip, fractured his femur and got four screws and a plate put into his leg on December 24, according to his Instagram post announcing the injury. He also revealed he laid out in the snow for “an hour” before he was able to “flag someone down,” but was helicoptered to a hospital immediately after and was in surgery within an hour.
Interestingly enough, Caelynn and Dean originally didn’t plan to meet up together for the holidays until around New Year’s, where they were scheduled to meet up in Berlin.
“We are not celebrating the holidays together, Caeylnn and I,” Dean explained exclusively to Life & Style at KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One back on December 6. “I’m going to Switzerland to ski in the Alps, and she is going to be with their parents and family in Virginia. But we will be together for New Year’s. I’m going to be in Berlin, and she’s going to come meet me in Berlin.”
Despite the circumstances, we bet the couple is jazzed to see each other a few days early!
