Honesty hour! Bachelor in Paradise alum Dean Unglert shared an intimate health update after a ski injury left him with a dislocated hip and fractured femur. The reality stud wiped out while shredding in the Swiss Alps, but his signature brand of humor is getting him through the bleak situation.

“No one: … Not a single soul: … Me: I just pooped for the first time in 83 hours!!” the 28-year-old shared in a tweet on December 26. Although the Bachelor Nation star’s bowel movement may not have been on your Christmas wish list this year, plenty of fans rallied to cheer on his … interesting … news.

“When I had my surgery I took a picture of my first poop to my friends on Snapchat I was so excited LOL,” one sympathetic person wrote. Dean quickly responded, “If I remembered my Snapchat password I would probably have done the same thing.” Someone else added, “Good progress,” while another user echoed, “It’s a Christmas miracle!”

Although his accident put a major damper on his trip to Switzerland, it seems as though his plans to meet his girlfriend, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, for New Year’s are still happening. The former Bachelor contestant took to Instagram on December 26 and shared a few PDA-packed photos of the two. “See you soon, Lorax,” she sweetly captioned the post. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this nickname is about Dean’s mustache looking like the Dr. Seuss character.

Dean exclusively dished details about how he is going to ring in 2020 with the former beauty queen — and it’s great to see it will still work out.

“We are not celebrating the holidays together, Caeylnn and I,” he explained at KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One on December 6. “I’m going to Switzerland to ski in the Alps, and she is going to be with their parents and family in Virginia. But we will be together for New Year’s. I’m going to be in Berlin, and she’s going to come meet me in Berlin.”

At least the second part of his vacation is panning out. See you next year, lovebirds!
