If you’ve been following the blossoming romance between Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, you probably know the 22-year-old singer attended her current flame’s concert in Brooklyn on August 23. But an insider exclusively revealed to Life & Style that the former Fifth Harmony member wasn’t supposed to show up at the 21-year-old’s show.

“She definitely wasn’t supposed to be there last night because she had VMAs rehearsals but she also definitely wanted to support her man so she showed up,” a source told LS exclusively.

“She could have finished rehearsals early and showed up,” the sourced added. “We were told she wasn’t coming BUT I GUESS YOUNG LOVE PREVAILS!”

Young love, indeed! Not only did the brunette beauty actually make it to the show, but she got her own special performance from the man of the hour when he sang one of his most romantic tracks.

“Camila came out a little more than halfway through Shawn’s concert at the back of the floor on a raised platform,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “When Shawn introduced his song ‘Fallin’ All in You,’ he ended with, ‘This one is for my Mami!’ and he pointed to Camila.”

“She was with a male friend throwing her hands up in the air when he started playing. She was wearing one of his bracelets that was glowing as she was dancing,” the source continued. “Halfway through the song, she got down on her knees and was looking lovingly at the stage and stayed there until the end when she jumped up and down and screamed and pointed. He was looking directly at her.”

And you better believe that was enough to keep her transfixed. “Camila stayed and watched for the rest of the show,” the eyewitness added. Talk about a steamy show! If this doesn’t get you hyped for this weekend’s VMAs, we don’t know what will, y’all.
