Christina Hall Claps Back at ‘Bizarre’ Dating Speculation After Posting Photo With Her Contractor
Christina Haack (formerly known as Christina Hall) is one busy lady who always has time to clap back at false rumors. The HGTV star slammed reports that she sparked dating rumors with a contractor she works with while renovating new properties.
The mom-of-three, 41, shared content via Instagram with her collaborators this week while seemingly filming The Flip Off with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young), who appeared in some of the content. Christina also posed for photos with their group of coworkers, including one of her contractors on Wednesday, December 4. Although the picture looked innocent, reports from multiple outlets claimed she sparked dating rumors with the man amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Josh Hall.
“Slow news day. I should be able to post pictures with my MARRIED male friends and co-workers without it being an omg look who’s she’s dating thing. So bizarre and ridiculous,” Christina wrote via Instagram Stories on Thursday, December 5. “Dear the media … I have plenty of interesting things to say (especially when it comes to my latest divorce) we don’t need to invent things.”
Christina is used to her love life making headlines during her past relationships with ex-husbands Tarek, 44, and Ant Anstead. The Christina in the Country star and Tarek, who were married for nine years, welcomed kids Taylor and Brayden during their marriage. She shares son Hudson with Ant, 45, whom she was married to between 2018 and 2021. Christina married Josh, 44, in April 2022. While their marriage was seemingly progressing, Josh filed for divorce in Orange County, California, on July 16, 2024. Christina filed her own paperwork the next day.
Their separation turned ugly quickly after the battle over finances and properties began as their spousal support requests differed in their respective divorce filings. Weeks after their split, Christina slammed Josh for taking $35,000 out of their shared bank account.
“Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account,” the Flip or Flop alum stated in court documents. “I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”
A judge ordered Josh to repay the money to his estranged wife and granted Christina as the sole owner of “all finances associated with the rental.”
The worst of it wasn’t over after Christina announced she put her Tennessee home, which is featured in Christina In the Country, on the market in October. Josh moved into the home after their separation, leading him to request the court to block the sale of the property.
The real estate guru pulled the Leiper’s Fork property off of the listing in November.
Christina and Josh’s business plan also fell through as Josh was set to star in The Flip Off alongside his estranged wife, Tarek and Heather. Due to the dissolution of their marriage, Josh was kicked off of the project and Ant was seemingly hired to make an appearance on the show.
