Paulie Calafiore Seemingly Admits to Cheating on Danielle Maltby — Here’s What Went Down
She’s heartbroken. Former Bachelor contestant Danielle Maltby wasn’t so lucky finding love with Nick Viall, and she also didn’t find love during Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. But Danielle actually found love with a fellow reality TV star, Big Brother‘s Paulie Calafiore, and the couple has been posting cute, PDA-filled snaps of themselves over the past five months. It seemed like the couple was really in love — which is why the news about Paulie’s alleged cheating scandal with MTV’s The Challenge star Cara Maria Sorbello was particularly devastating for Danielle. On January 29, Danielle, 31, and Paulie, 29, both took to Instagram to announce their relationship. Danielle shared a photo of two polaroid photos of her and Paulie at a wedding with the caption, “Melting.” Meanwhile, Paulie shared one of the photos and simply captioned it, “Wedding season.” The couple spent the next few months using holidays like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter to share super cute PDA photos.

On June 2, Paulie and Cara Maria both attended a Challenge Throwdown for the Cause event in NYC, according to Us Weekly. The following day, rumors started swirling that claimed Paulie and Cara hooked up.

An Instagram Live clip surfaced that allegedly showed Cara hinting at her hookup with Paulie, a fan flooded Cara’s mentions with their opinion. “EWW [sic] [Cara] how could you? I mean were you really that [desperate] that you had to go and f–k that trashy midget POS Paulie? DAMN GIRL!! I just lost all respect for you,” the fan tweeted. “GROSS!! [And] didn’t you give s–t to Tony for being a cheating “dog” [and] NOW YOU’RE F–KING ONE…REALLY?” Cara responded to the fan and simply wrote, “I’m single, yo.”

Cara has been flirty with Paulie in the past.
Cara has left flirty comments on Paulie’s last two Instagram posts before their alleged cheating scandal. “He puts the Hot in psycHOTic [sic],” she wrote under one of his most recent selfies. According to E! News, she also shared a post on her Instagram story with a mystery man wearing the same pinky ring that Paulie does, and she allegedly told the camera, “Nobody has to know.”
Danielle is “devastated.”
“Danielle is too devastated to speak out right now,” her rep said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly. “Please respect her heart and her privacy at the moment, since both have been shattered.”
Paulie seemingly admits to the infidelity.
“I am not proud of my actions these past weeks,” Paul told E!. “I know they speak louder than these words. I have destroyed the one person that has believed in and brought out the best in me. I have many things I need to work on and repair internally. I want to be better. I know I haven’t earned it, but I ask for patience and privacy while I work on repairing myself.”
