Too sweet! Demi Lovato honored her grandma with a new portrait tattoo on her forearm. The singer took to Instagram in the very early hours of Thursday, May 16, to show off her new ink done by Los Angeles based tattoo artist (and celeb favorite) Dr. Woo. The tribute to her grandmother is definitely near and dear to her heart.

“This is for you Mimaw. You at 26 on my arm while I’m 26, and forever. I love you more,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer captioned a photo of herself exposing the fresh tat on her arm. The black-and-white portrait shows the close relative of Demi smiling and looking peaceful.

The songbird continued her caption, “Thank you [Dr. Woo] for making her come back to life for me … it’s stunning and the most meaningful tattoo I have ever gotten.” The former Disney starlet documented the process on her Instagram Story and it all seemed very chill. Considering the pop star has almost 20 tattoos, she’s no stranger to the process. Her most recent work obviously carries a lot of sentimental value.

The songbird just returned from an epic trip to Bora Bora where she soaked up the sun and looked incredible while doing so. She posted a series of super sultry bikini-clad pics and revealed that she’s feeling good in her own skin. “I feel awesome and posting this feels empowering because I like this pic where I feel sexy and I can also defend myself from anyone that ever tries to attack me. Any size, any shape, any gender,” she captioned one of the shots.
